Back to topWhy is Uploading Media Slow from a Dell Notebook with Vista and a Broadcom Network Card?
If a user uploads any media to Unifyer through a broad-com network card in a Dell Vostro 1400 Notebook, running Vista, they may experience slow performance due to driver computability issues. Upgrade to SP1 of Vista elevates this issue.
Back to topWhy do I get a Blank, Black, Screen Displayed when Attempting to Navigate to the Unifyer Web Page?

Back to topWhy Am I Unable to Find My Friend in the Friends, Search People Section?
If you have already dragged the person from the Search People pane onto the tile then you will not find them in Search People. Select the next page of friends or try the Advanced Search for Friends by clicking Advanced. Also check your requested section of your friends they might have already asked to be your friend.
Back to topWhy do Extra Records Appear when Using the Filter / Search Boxes?
Currently, the search / filter boxes are searching plain text and the html tags that surround them. Because of this, if a user searches on “font” or “bold” they may receive inaccurate search results.
Back to topWhat Happens when I Delete / Remove a User?
Removing a user will delete all content (Articles, Announcements, Comments, News Feeds) they owned or created. Be sure to reassign ownership of any News Feeds or Groups prior to deletion of that user.
Back to topWhy is my Profile / Group Picture Cutoff?
Images that are taller than they are wide will have this effect. This is because Unifyer will take the center of the picture. A simple work-around is to create a new square shaped image with a program like Paint.Net(freeware). Setting the background to black is recommended. After creating the image copy the existing picture into the new image and save.
Back to topWhy do my Colors Look Inconsistent in Unifyer when I Save a Photoshop file?
One reason is “color space”. This is a feature of Photoshop and other advanced image manipulating programs. The short of it is that sRGB is the “color space” or color map which is balanced for most average quality monitors, and consequently best for Unifyer. The other common choice “Adobe RGB 1998″ which is better suited to high end monitors and printing. Uploaded media files may not retain original color profile in Unifyer unless you save the file for the web, and even then there may be some variations in color muting and saturation in Unifyer. Files uploaded into Unifyer should be saved with a sRGB color space for optimal display.
